Port Jackson Sharks, Wobbegong Sharks, Giant Cuttlefish, Blue Groupers, Dusky Whaler Sharks, Gloomy Octopuses, Grey Nurse Sharks, Fiddler Rays, Sting Rays, schools of Goat Fish and Pomfrets, Frog Fish and Giant Flatheads are some of the regular residents you can see at the Shelly Beach shore dive site.
You might even catch a glimpse of the rare and elusive Weedy Seadragon.

The Shelly Beach dive site has a north facing aspect and is sheltered from ocean currents and swell, has a very easy entry and exit from the gently sloping sandy beach.
